Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge for a cake?

Because each cake is custom made, your actual cake price is based on a number of factors to include flavors, fillings, number of servings, and etc. I will be able to base your cake pricing on your cake design, flavors and time required to create your unique look.

Do I need to secure my cake order with a deposit?

In order to confirm your order and secure your date, a non-refundable, non-transferrable retainer is required which is 50% of your order total.

Do you offer cake tastings?

Yes, I offer cake tastings via a pick up location taster box only, unless a consultation/tasting appointment has been made. A fee for a tasting box is charged.

Do you provide/set up cakes for an outdoor event?

Due to the environmental factors that are uncontrollable, I will only do a faux/dummy cake for outside exposure. Cakes do not get along with pest (gnats, ants, bugs), warm weather and the sun. Your guest will appreciate having a cake that is fresh without the elements of pest or melted icing. I would recommend having kitchen cakes (3 layer cakes) to be sliced inside of the venue and brought to guest for outside plating.

Can I order a cake for delivery/pickup within a couple of days?

Unfortunately, I will be unable to complete your cake order due to existing cake orders. I recommend at least 3 weeks notification on a single tier cake order with advanced notice on more complex cake orders to include specialty occasion cakes. Wedding cakes are recommended to have a minimum of 2 months notice. However, please send me an email if it’s a simple 3 layer cake, pound cake or cupcake order for I may have the ability to due a rush order.

Do you replicate a cake design?

I do not replicate a cake artist design, but I  will welcome inspirational pictures to help design the cake of your dreams.
